Deadline for CAIP & Youth cost share applications: 31 Aug 2017

Deadline for applications for the 2017 Adair County CAIP program and the Youth Ag Incentives Program is Thursday - August 31, 2017 at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY.



The County Agriculture Investment Program is a 50% cost-share program with a maximum funding of $1,500 per farm operation. CAIP is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices.

The Youth Cost-share program is focused on youth developing agricultural projects, as well as strengthening partnerships with school ag programs, Cooperative Extension, and 4-H/FFA organizations.

For information on either program stop by the Extension Office at 409 Fairground Street in Columbia or call 270-384-2317.
