LBN Pkwy WB lanes closed, Metcalfe Co. due to overturned semi

Westbound Louie B. Nunn/Cumberland Parkway lanes currently closed. Traffic is being routed to KY 80 from both Edmonton and Columbia

EDMONTON, KY (Wed 9 Aug 2017) Kentucky State Police is currently on scene of an overturned semi on the Cumberland Parkway that occurred at 4:30amCT, near the 34 mile marker.



The westbound lanes of the roadway are currently closed. Detours have been established, motorist are being routed to KY 80 from both Edmonton and Columbia. Motorist are urged to avoid the area if possible. Further updates will follow.
Citizens can contribute to highway safety by calling KSP toll-free at: (1-800-222-5555). Citizens can call to confidentially report impaired drivers or any criminal activity. You may also download the free KSP mobile phone app. The app provides quick, direct access to KSP including weather, road and traffic information as well as text, voice and photo tip capabilities to report criminal behavior. The app is available for IPhone, IPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple or Google Play stores. Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Pkwy westbound blocked in Metcalfe

BOWLING GREEN, KY (9 Aug 2017) – A semi-crash on the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway has blocked the westbound direction near the 33 mile marker. The blockage is expected to last five or six hours while cleanup is ongoing. Motorists need to detour at exit 46 in Columbia to KY 61 to KY 80, follow KY 80 into Edmonton and turn right onto U.S. 68 in Edmonton to reconnect with the parkway at exit 29. - Wes Watt
