Opening Day for Adair County Board of Education employees

All certified and classified employees are to report to ACHS Wednesday morning, 09 August 2017. Veterans are invited to hear special guest speaker Mr. Clebe McGlary, Vietnam War Veteran

All classified and certified employees of the Adair County Board of Education are to report to Adair County High School, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY Wednesday, August 9, 2017, for opening day. Doors will open at 7:30amCT, and the program will begin at 9amCT. The guest speaker will Mr. Clebe McClary, a Vietnam War veteran who received both a Silver Star and a Bronze Star.



His story of how he overcame tremendous obstacles after the loss of an eye, an arm, and 34 surgeries has been inspiring audiences for more than 30 years in both the United States and foreign countries. Local veterans are welcome to attend tomorrow's opening day events and meet Mr. McClary.
