Wednesday Farmers Market on the Square - Wed 02 Aug 2017 By Barbara Armitage, FM2 coordinator It’s August, the kids are getting ready to go back to school and before you know it you’ll be shopping for Christmas presents. Life's about to get really busy. Before things get away from you how about taking a trip to the Farmers Market on the Square today and pick up the ingredients for delicious family dinner? Here's a few of the items we'll have available until sold out: Green beans, several varieties. Tomatoes including heritage tomatoes like Cherokee Purple and Ponderosa Pink. Cucumbers for slicing and pickling. Yellow squash, zucchini and Eggplant. Red and white potatoes. Onions and peppers. Local honey. Angus Beef, free GMO-free chicken and farm fresh eggs. Fresh baked breads and muffins.Produce at the Farmers Market on the Square is locally grown and picked fresh. The Farmers Market on the Square is open Wednesdays 1pm-6pmCT. And Saturdays 8am-1pmCT.
