Charolette (Stephens) Leis, 59, Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday July 21, 2017 at Markey Cancer Center, Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Monday, July 24, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Bobby Conner officiating. Interment will be in the Bernard Cemetery, Stephens Ridge Road, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Sunday July 23, 2017 the funeral home.

She was born on Thursday April 10, 1958 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Maxine Zimmerman Stephens & Buel Stephens. She died Fridaym July 21, 2017, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 59 years, three months, and 12 days.

She was a member of Square Oak Separate Baptist Church and was a lab technician.

She is survived by:
  • Her husband: Gary Leis, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two daughters: Olivia wife of Joel Dooley, Glasgow, KY; and Erynn, wife of Tom Ellis, Bowling Green, KY

  • Four sisters: Cynthia Davis, Lana West, and Agna Duke, all of Russell Springs, KY; and Sylvia Davis, Louisville, KY
  • >
  • One brother: Sovel Stephens, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Madelynn, Kathrynn and Jacob Dooley, and Declan Ellis
