Gov. Bevin makes appointments to KY Boards & Commissions

FRANKFORT, KY (July 17, 2017) - Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:



Crystal Lynn Morgan and Christina Coleman Johnson have been appointed to the Board of Nursing.
  • Crystal Lynn Morgan, of Marrowbone, is a nurse with Metcalfe County Healthcare. She will represent the Kentucky State Association of Licensed Practical Nurses and serve for a term expiring June 30, 2020.
  • Christina Coleman Johnson, of Owenton, is a community health coordinator for Three Rivers District Health Department. She will represent citizens at-large and serve for a term expiring June 30, 2021.
The Board of Nursing is composed of 16 gubernatorial appointees. The Board approves programs of nursing and regulates and controls the licensing and conduct of nurses within the Commonwealth.

Chester Hicks, Kem Delaney-Ellis, Olivia Davis, and Deandra Hart have been appointed to the Governor's Minority Employment, Business Affairs and Economic Development Council.
  • Chester Hicks, of Louisville, is an administrative officer for Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. He will serve for a term expiring April 1, 2021.
  • Kem Delaney-Ellis, of Shelbyville, is director of health policy for Norton Healthcare. She will serve for a term expiring April 1, 2021.
  • Olivia Davis, of Lexington, is an assurance manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. She will serve for a term expiring April 1, 2021.
  • Deandra Hart, of Louisville, is office manager for Results Physiotherapy. She will serve for the remainder of an unexpired term ending April 1, 2018.
