CU to hold Kingdom Advance Network 3 Aug 2017

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University will host the Kingdom Advance Network Thursday, Aug. 3 during which Eric Gilbert, pastor of 3trees Church in Russell Springs and Campbellsville, Ky., will lead worship, and Dr. Ben Witherington III, internationally recognized Bible scholar and the Amos Professor of New Testament for Doctoral Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, will lead the January Bible Study Preview, in Ransdell Chapel at 401 N. Hoskins St., Campbellsville.
"The Kingdom Advance Network exists to connect pastors, pastoral staffs, lay leaders and ministries in building God's Kingdom together," according to Dr. G. Ted Taylor, vice president for university outreach.
"It is our desire to see churches and ministries coming together to see their full potential in serving our Lord."
Check in and networking begins at 8:30 a.m. until the 9 a.m. worship service with Gilbert who will deliver his first part on "The Church God Sees." There will be a 15-minute intermission at 10:15 a.m. with Gilbert finishing his address at 10:30 a.m. The morning session ends at noon.
At 1:15 p.m., Witherington will deliver the January Bible Study Preview on "1 Peter: Living as Strangers in a Secular World." His discussion will be from 1:15 p.m. until 8 p.m.
