AC Fire Department battles fire - but house is total loss

House on Edmonton Road totally engulfed in flames when firemen arrive

The Adair County Fire Department responded to a residential house fire Friday night, July 7, 2016, at 10:33pmCT, at 5055 Edmonton Road, Upon arrival, the house was engulfed in fire, property owned by Amelia McGough. The house was a total loss. 20 firefighters were on the scene around three hours and was assisted on the scene by Breeding Fire Department, Adair Search and Rescue and KY State Police for traffic control.
