She was the daughter of the late Claude Russell & Annie Lee Saunders Russell and the widow of Russell McVay, her husband of 51 years. She leaves 25 direct living descendants, spanning four generations. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was an avid reader, loved playing Rook with friends, working puzzles and she loved her flowers.
