She was the matriarch of a highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late John Elbert & Gladys Walker Brummett. She leaves ten direct living descendants, including a great grandson, expected in August, 2017. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom after 30+ years of service.

Brenda Bardin, 72, of Columbia, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:39amCT at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Monday, July 3, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville St., Columbia, KY. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 11amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, with Bro. Jamie Bryant & Bro. Rick Shelton officiating.



Brenda Bardin, 72, Columbia, KY (1945-2017)

She was born January 2, 1945, in Anderson, Madison County, IN. She was the daughter of, the late John Elbert & Gladys Walker Brummett. She died Friday, June 30, 2017, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 72 years, five months, and 28 days,.

She was retired from Fruit of the Loom after 30+ years of service.

Survivors Include:
  • Two sons: Barry Wayne (Tracy) Bardin of Columbia, KY; & John Brent (Natalie Fagan) Bardin of Lexington, KY

  • One daughter: Michelle (Mike) Murrell of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Alberta Janes of Columbia, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Cameron Murrell, Jessica Withers, Cara Murrell, McKenzie Fagan-Bardin, Tabitha Fagan-Bardin & Chloe Murrell

  • Her first great-grandchild, Hank Brummett Withers, expected in August
Honorary Casket Bearers: Chris Bryant, Jacob Feese, Cody Withers, Cameron Murrell, Larry Brummett, Kelly Dorman and Mike Murrell.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia,KY, is in charge of arrangements.
