Morgan Long earns GED diploma 55 years after leaving school

A major accomplishment, considering how schools have changed since 1962 - his last year in public schools, but he perservered. He's also thankful to those folks at the Adult Learning Center for pushing him and never giving up on him.

Morgan Long, who had not been in school for 55 years, recently earned his GED Diploma.

It wasn't easy and he deserves great credit for his hard work.


And, he would like to thank Kimberly Gutelius, LeeAnna Bennett, Emily Gunberg, Tanner Strine, and Samantha Cape for pushing him and never giving up on him and helping him earn his GED.

It's a major accomplishment, considering the way school has changed since he attended a one room school house.
