Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 27 June 2017
Indictments brought against 17 individuals from Campbellsville, Columbia, and Bradfordsville, KY, on charges including assault, burglary, promoting contraband, sexual abuse, theft, shoplifting, and possession.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 27 June 2017:
- Dustin T. Stapleton (09/25/1983), Norman Grant Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00105. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Bond set at $2,500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations fo the law.
- Tearah Kessler (07/22/1991), Old Lebanon Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00106. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no contact with WalMart, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- James L. Whitehead (09/17/1979), Coakley St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00107. Charged with 5 counts. Counts 1-4 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 5 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- Sara M. Teel (11/26/1989), Sullivan School Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00108. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $500 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

- Joshua A. Grisso (06/16/1982), Liberty Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00111. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth). Count 2 - Promoting contraband, 1st degree. Count 3 - Public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree.
