Audry Bradshaw, Taylor County, KY (1921-2017)

She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY. She was married to the late A. J. "Sello" Bradshaw, her husband of 39 years. She leaves 34 living descendants, spanning four generations. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.

Audry Bradshaw, 96, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 7:47pmET, Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Lebanon, KY.

Funeral service will be at 2pmCT/3pmET, Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jimmy York. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, 200 Block W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Audry Bradshaw, Taylor County, KY (1921-2017)


Audry Bradshaw was the daughter of the late Marvin Henson & Elizabeth Perkins Henson. She was born April 27, 1921, in Taylor County, KY. She died Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Lebanon, Marion County, KY, at the age of 96 years, one month, and 19 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.

Audry was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to A. J. "Sello" Bradshaw June 24, 1937 and he preceded her in death May 4, 1976.

She is survived by:
  • One son and two daughters: Marvin Bradshaw and wife, Marilyn of Palm Coast, FL; Alice Long and husband, Russell of St. Augustine, FL; and Bettie Miller and husband, Verlas, of Campbellsville, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Eleven great-grandchildren

  • Ten great-great-grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • Many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by seven sisters: May Henson, Ruth Henson, Ida Hawkins, Julia Karnes, Pauline Sapp, Eliza Hicks and Hazel Wade.
