Victoria Pike: As Walmart & New Columbia grows, so does herd

Hum the "Farmer & the Rancher Can be Friends" to understand how diverse cultures, even such an unlikely ones as that of New Columbia & of Greater Bliss, can harmoniously co-exist - and have done so for nine years. The Golden Rule is alive and well here - if not a lesson for our times, for sure a hit country music song. And read on, Miss Vicky writes awful purty.

Miss Victoria's Pampered Angus Ranch, glad to be Walmart neighbor

I can't believe it has been 9 years since we welcomed the Walmart Supercenter to our neighborhood.

And how our little neighborhood has grown since then.

Walmart has been a good neighbor.

No complaints from the girls.

All the development has provided them with much needed entertainment.

As our neighborhood has grown, so has the herd at Miss Victoria's Pampered Angus Ranch.

The girls just refuse to leave their almost perfect little world.

Some even come to visit them on occasion and others have told me they enjoy watching us go about our daily routine from the restaurant across the road.

So, thank you to Walmart, for coming to our neighborhood 9 years ago and for the beautiful renovations just completed.

- Victoria Pike
