Mrs. Kittie Ann Frazer to speak at Adair Co. Public Library

By Mike Watson, Adair County Historian

Kittie Ann Frazer to appear in person at the Adair County Public Library on June 5th, 5:00pm Central Time, hosted by Adair County Genealogical Society.

Yes, Mrs. Kittie Frazer, well-known Columbia and Adair County entrepreneur, will speak to the Adair Genealogical Society and guests on Monday, June 5th, concerning her life and times as a ground-breaking businesswoman of the nineteenth century.

Portrayed by Lee Ann Jessee, Adair County's own head librarian, Mrs. Frazer will come time life again. Some may remember her last earthly appearance, a few years ago at the Columbia Cemetery during an October Silent City Walk.

Come join us Monday night and meet Mrs. Frazer. Rain or shine, hot or cold, breezy or still. Refreshments provided. Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728; for more information: 270-384-3472. - MIKE WATSON
