Three passengers injured in two-vehicle collision on S KY 55

COLUMBIA, KY (Wed 1 June 2017) - Trooper Nick Hale is investigating a collision that occurred at 11:07amCT on KY 55, 2 miles south of Columbia, KY.



40-year-old Brian Pedigo, of Smiths Grove, KY was operating a 2010 Ford passenger car, pulled out of a driveway on KY 55 south and pulled into the path of a 2001 Buick passenger car operated by 27-year-old Jason Morgan, of Columbia. Pedigo's vehicle struck the Morgan vehicle in the rear passenger side.

Both operators were wearing seatbelts. Morgan and Pedigo were not injured.

Three passengers in the Morgan vehicle, 8-year-old Jaden Elmore, 6-year-old Lilly Elmore and 1-year-old Brantlee Morgan, all of Columbia, KY, were belted and were transported by EMS to TJ Healthcare of Columbia and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
