Norman George, 72, of Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:07amCT, at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg, KY.

Funeral service for Norman George will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Tom Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Saturday, June 3, 2017.

He was born June 10, 1944, in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Lilburn Phillip & Bertha Marie Guffey George. He died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Wanda Handy George, Columbia, KY

  • Three sons - Ricky Dale George of Texas, Phillip Edward George & Aron Christian George both of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Nickie Iline George of Columbia, KY

  • One step-daughter: Margie Handy of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Larry George of Columbia & Clarence George of Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Heather Ewing, Craig Wilson, Jacob Dotson, Lucas Dotson, Ashton Dotson & Gloria Dotson

  • Two step-grandchildren: Julie Franklin & Roberto Ramirez

  • One step-great-grandchild: Trena Renee Coffey

  • Several other relatives & friends
