Hunter Durham has theory on half-century old unsolved 'crime' Humor: Famed attorney/detective may have 'connected the dots' in the writings of Dr. Billy K. Neat and Pete Walker and solved a major mostly fictional mystery of some 50 years ago. Hunter Durham Writes: Great story. I remember seeing it before. Just after this story, Dr. Billy K. Neat & Pete Walker had stories about a varmint which was seen by several (none of whom you could believe) and someone saw the varmint (CM note: the varmint, according to Dr.Neat was a grave robber, known as Ol' Rob) with a hoe that was said to belong to Cotton Durham. However, several witnesses said Cotton never owned a hoe nor would he know how to use it. It may have been the lost hoe from the earlier story about Dolphus' stolen hoe. Ol' Rob might have done it. --Hunter DurhamABOUT: Humor: Case of missing hoe baffled police, crime reporter This story was posted on 2017-05-30 15:35:46
