He's also MSC Freshman of the Year

By Charles Balcom, Assistant Sports Information Director
Lindsey Wilson College

COLUMBIA, KY. - Rasmus Broholt Lind became the first NAIA All-American team selection in Lindsey Wilson men's golf history after earning NAIA Third Team All-American honors, the national office announced on Friday.

A pair of Blue Raiders had previously earned Honorable Mention honors, but Lind becomes the first team selection in men's history.

Lind was one of 15 student-athletes to earn a spot on the Third Team in his first season of collegiate golf.

Lind finished second at the Mid-South Conference Tournament and also earned an at-large berth into the national championship field as an individual.

Lind was named the MSC Freshman of the Year, and at the national tournament he missed the 36-hole cut line by one stroke during his first appearance.
