The Adair County Education Association (ACEA) and affiliate of KEA would like to congratulate Mrs. Angie Smith on being named Teacher of the Month for the Adair County Public Schools.

Angie has been teaching for 20 years most recently in 5th Gade Social Studies at Adair County Elementary School. She received her B.A. from Lindsey Wilson College and her M.A. from Campbellsville University.

A memorable teaching moment for Mrs. Smith was seeing a former student at Walmart, now in her late 20's, who said, "Mrs. Smith, I still remember the Preamble," and she quoted the entire thing to me."

A favorite quote of Angie's is: "Success occurs when your dreams get bigger than your excuses." Congratulations to Mrs. Angie Smith. You do our district proud!
