Reba Redmon, 80, Adair County, KY/Russell County, KY native (1936-2017)

Reba was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY. She worked as a medical receptionist for many years. She was the daughter of the late Eris Ray & Carrie Laveda Foley Pennington, and the widow of Luther Ray Redmon. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Reba Redmon, 80 years of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday May 18, at 11pmCT, at Signature Health at Summit Manor, Columbia.

Funeral service will be Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Larry Wisdom the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. The family request visitation after 4pmCT, Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Reba Redmon, 80, Adair Co., KY/Russell Co., KY native (1936-2017)

She was born July 29, 1936 in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Eris Ray & Carrie Laveda Foley Pennington. She died Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 80 years, nine months, 19 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Ray Redmon Luther Ray Redmon on November 9, 2009 and her son Robbin Ray Redmon on August 15, 2013.

She is survived by:
  • Three grandchildren: Rebecca Renee' Redmon, Michael Ray Redmon, and Emily Shay Redmon all of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter-in-law: Beverly Akin Redmon Long of Cave City, KY

  • A special friend: Carroll Powell of Glasgow, KY

  • And other family and friends
