Everett Wheeler, 84, Adair County, KY/Daviess County, KY native (1932-2017)

He was commercial well driller for Moody's of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio for years, a US Air Force Veteran and was of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Parrish & Mary Simmons Wheeler. His wife, Alice Bernard Wheeler, survives. He was a member of a highly regarded Adair County family. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Everett Wheeler, 84, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, May 15, 2017 at 7:28pmET, at Signature East Healthcare in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Rick Shelton and Bro. Troy Long officiating. Burial in Beulah Chapel Cemetery, 4262 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 4:30pmCT, Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at the funeral home.



Casket Bearers: Ed Darnell, Mark Harris, Larry Dudley, Robert Flowers, T.J. Wheeler, Nick Koller, Todd Green, and Allen Green.

Everett Wheeler, 84, Adair Co, KY/Daviess Co., KY native (1932-2017)

He was born Tuesday, July 19, 1932, in Utica, Daviess County, KY, to the late Parrish & Mary Simmons Wheeler. He died Monday, May 15, 2017, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 84 years, seven months, and 26 days.

He was commercial well driller for Moody's of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio for years, a US Air Force Veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include:
  • His wife: Alice Bernard Wheeler of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Tim Wheeler of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Patti (Nick) Koller of Louisville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: T.J. Wheeler and Hannah Koller

  • One brother: Charles Wheeler of Gary, IN

  • Two sisters: Carolyn Wheeler Cooke of Louisville, KY; and Lucille Helton of Owensboro, KY

  • Several other relatives and friends
