Zac Lawson takes 4th place in Idea State U competition Competed against 15 teams; earlier, Lawson won 2nd place in Regional Idea State U competitions Click on headline for complete story, photo(s), YouTube video By Travis Smith, Assistant Director of Public Relations Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY With his business model 'Make My Day Meats', Zac Lawson, a business and CIS junior from Bloomfield, KY, won 4th place and a check for $2,000 on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Idea State U competition held in Lexington, KY. Lawson competed against 15 other teams in the Business Model Track. Through recommendation from judges, Lawson plans to move his 'Make My Day Meats' concept forward next year and compete for the Business Plan Track in which the top prize is $30,000.
