FRANKFORT, KY - (Fri 28 Apr 2017) - Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:



Carrie Tilghman Derossett has been appointed to the North American International Livestock Exposition Executive Committee.Rebecca Nash Rowe has been reappointed.
  • Carrie Tilghman Derossett, of Glasgow, is the Logan County 4-H development agent for education at the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension. She shall serve during the Governor's incumbency.
  • Rebecca Nash Rowe, of Campbellsville, is a family and consumer sciences extension agent at the University of Kentucky, She shall serve during the Governor's incumbency.
The North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Executive Committee oversees the NAILE, the largest all-breed, purebred livestock show in the world. This expo draws nearly 22,000 entries and approximately 200,000 visitors to Louisville each year. The Committee is attached to the North American International Livestock Exposition Division within the State Fair Board for administrative purposes. The committee consists of 11 members, including two members at-large appointed by the Governor.

Billy Joe Beckham has been appointed to Real Estate Commission.

Billy Joe Beckham, of Smiths Grove, is the general manager of Southern States Glasgow Cooperation. Beckham will represent citizens at-large. He shall serve for a term expiring April 26, 2020.

The Kentucky Real Estate Commission is made up of five gubernatorial appointees. The Commission was created to examine, regulate and license real estate brokers and sales associates throughout the state.
