Countdown: Just 3 days to Adair County PRIDE Spring Clean-up

The entire Adair County community is invited to come out Saturday, April 29, 2017 for the PRIDE Spring Cleanup. Registration is scheduled 7am-8amCT at rear parking lot, Adair Courthouse Annex, 424 Public Square. The Clean up is 8am-12pmNoonCT.



Volunteers can identify their cleanup area and pick up supplies (gloves, bags, safety vests, insect repellant wipes, and sunscreen) upon registration. When volunteers have finished cleaning up their area each team's leader will return to the Annex to report the number of bags picked up.

The Adair County Fiscal Court will pay for the disposal of all bags at the Adair County Transfer Station.

Donuts, fresh fruit, milk, orange juice, and water will be served during registration.

Students in BETA and National Honor Society at Adair County High School will be on hand to paint faces for participating children. Door prizes donated by local businesses will be given away to volunteers.

The cleanup is presented as a joint effort between the Adair County Fiscal Court, Lindsey Wilson College, and the City of Columbia. --Andrea Waggener
