Patty Arnett Wright, Green County, KY/Taylor Co., KY native (1952-2017)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. She was a former machine operator for Fruit of the Loon, Inc. for 19 years and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of Woodson Arnett and the late Ruth Bright Arnett, and was the widow of Stephen Foster Wright. She leaves four direct living descendants.

Mrs. Patricia Sue "Patty" Arnett Wright of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Woodson Arnett of Greensburg and the late Ruth Bright Arnett, was born on December 23, 1952 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was 64 years, 3 months, and 26 days of age.

The funeral services for Patty Arnett Wright was conducted at 10amCT, Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Lynn Scott and Bro. Wilburn Bonta will officiated. Visitation was from 5pm until 8pmCT, Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Friday until time of the funeral service.

Patty Sue (Patty) Arnett Wright, 64, Green County, KY/Taylor Co., KY native (1952-2017)

Mrs. Patricia Sue "Patty" Arnett Wright of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Woodson Arnett of Greensburg & the late Ruth Bright Arnett, was born on December 23, 1952 in Taylor County, KY; and departed this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 64 years, three months, and 26 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. She was a former machine operator for Fruit of the Loon, Inc. for 19 years and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Stephen Foster Wright on July 25, 1970 who preceded her in death on March 28, 2007.

Beside her father, Patty is survived by
  • A daughter: Tammy Bryant and her fiance', Jeremy Pike, both of Greensburg, KY

  • Two grandsons: Daniel Keith Bryant, III of Greensburg, KY; and Stephen Wayne Bryant of Richmond, KY

  • A great-granddaughter: McKinley Bryant of Greensburg, KY

  • A sister and brother-in-law: Judy and Roscoe Janes of Greensburg, KY

  • A brother and sister-in-law: Mike and Vickie Arnett of Greensburg, KY

  • Two nieces and a nephew: Cindy Scott, Katie Rafferty, and Josh Arnett, all of Greensburg, KY
  • And a host of other relatives and friends
