Barbara Jean Bault, 86, Taylor Co., KY (1930-2017)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses for many years. She was a great cook and loved entertaining her family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Robert Fawcett & Rosa Wilson Fawcett. Her husband, William Bault, survives. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Barbara Jean Bault, 83, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 8amET, Friday, April 21, 2017 in Campbellsville.

Funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. A. Landon Hadley. Burial will be in Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Barbara Jean Bault, daughter of the late Robert Fawcett & Rosa Wilson Fawcett, was born June 13, 1930 in Taylor County, KY. She died Friday, April 21, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and eight days.

Barbara Jean professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.

She worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses for many years.

Barbara Jean was a great cook and loved entertaining her family and friends.

She united in marriage to William Bault October 4, 1953.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: William Bault of Campbellsville, KY

  • A daughter: Ruthie Bender and a son Jimmy Bault of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Robert Bender of Campbellsville, KY; and Jenna Lee and husband, David of Monroeville, AL

  • One sister: Faye Syler of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Earl Fawcett, Charles Fawcett, Bobby Fawcett, Melba Thompson, Frances Hunt and Hazel Cusma.
