ACSO investigates stabbing incident on Neat Hollow Road

On April 19, 2017 at approximately 1:12pmCT, Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss and Adair County Chief Deputy Aaron Rainwater were dispatched to 1164 Neat Hollow Road, Columbia, for an attempted home invasion.



Jamie Neat of 1164 Neat Hollow Road, Columbia, KY, advised Adair County 911 that an unknown male dressed in Camo fatigue and black face paint, and armed with a knife had attempted to force his way into the residence.

Neat reported that during a scuffle, he was cut on his arm. Neat told authorities that the unknown male had then fled the scene in a newer model black van with no license plate.

Neat was transported to TJ Health/Columbia by private vehicle where he was treated for a small laceration to his arm.

Deputy Rainwater and Sheriff Moss investigated the incident and were assisted by Columbia Police Officer Kevin Atwood.
