Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 11 Apr 2017

Indictments against 7 persons from Columbia and Elkhorn, KY. Charges include criminal mischief, assault, burglary, wanton endangerment, forgery, and theft.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 11 April 2017:


  • Daniel L. Cramer (05/02/1972), Hancock Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00048. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Count 2 - Assault, 4th degree. Count 3 - Possession of a controlleds substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense. Count 4 - Alcohol intoxication in a public place. Bail $2,000 CA only, arraignment Apr 25, 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Brian Fair (07/12/1995), Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00049. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking, $500-10,000. Count 2 - Burglary, 1st degree. Count 3 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition, firearm. Bail set at $5,000 CA only, arraignment Apr 25, 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Anthony Dartt (07/09/1969), Snake Creek Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00050. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bail set at $1,000 CA/sec prop, arraignment Apr 25, 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Jennifer Gayde (10/06/1984), Willies Dr., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00051. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Wanton endanerment, 1st degree. Bail set at $1,000 CA only, arraignment Apr 25, 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Bo James Stancill (01/19/1981), Gaddis Ridge Rd., Elkhorn, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00052. Charged with 4 counts. Counts 1-4 - Forgery, 1st degree. Bail set at $1,000 CA only, arraignment Apr 25, 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Barry Coomer (11/01/1964), Bridgeport Circle, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00053. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking, $500-10,000. Bail set at $2,000 CA only, arraignment Apr 25, 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Daniel L. Hocevar (08/28/1983) Indictment No. 17-CR-00054. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Theft by failure to make the required disposition of property, value over $500. Count 2 - Theft by failure to make the required disposition of property, value over $500. Count 3 - Theft by failure to make the required disposition of property, value over $500. Count 4 - Theft by failure to make the required disposition of property, value over $500. Bail set at $5,000 CA, arraignment Apr 25, 2017 at 1pmCT.
