Have you selected your cleanup area for this Saturday's Adair County PRIDE Cleanup Day, Sat April 29. 2017? We have so much to do. The above extreme trash spot is part from casual tossing and part from washing down the hill and catching when the creek is out of its banks. The delicate Rue Anemone flower grows on an outcropping just above it. Adair County Fiscal Court, the City of Columbia, and Lindsey Wilson College are teaming up to lead the way Saturday. Clubs, organizations, churches and individuals are invited to pick your area for cleanup and then pre-register at the office of the Adair County judge executive, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. Safety vests, gloves, and trash bags will be provided to each team. Registration on the day of the event starts at 7amCT. Phone 270-384-4703 for more details. -- LMW
