She was the daughter of the late Archie & Alta Griffin Buttram, and the widow of Leslie Earl "Tuger Bill" Whittle, her husband of a remarkable 59 years, who preceded her in death just slightly over one year ago. Funeral service for Monnie Whittle will be 1pmCT, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. David Coffey officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, April 19, 2017, and after 8amCT, Thursday. Interment will be in the McBeath Cemetery, Russell County, KY. Special will be rendered by Doyle & Brenda Wilson Pallbearers: Chad Whittle, Aaron Whittle, Jonathan Hiles, Gary Lee Whittle, Nicholas Whittle, and Evan Whittle.
