KSP charges Warren Co. man, 36 in distribution/possession case Child sexual exploitation offenses alleged Note: An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual who is arrested is detained in order to answer for an alleged or suspected crime, and should be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. By Lt. Jeremy Murrell, Kentucky State Police BOWLING GREEN, KY (13 Apr 2017) --On April 12, 2017, at approximately 8:45pmCT, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Drew L. Gibson, 36, on charges related to distribution and possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Gibson was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Bowling Green on April 12, 2017. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP's forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing. Gibson is currently charged with three counts of distribution and 40 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
