Governor's Entrepreneurship Challenge and will now advance to state competition. On Tuesday, April 11, CHS freshman Cole Kidwell, sophomore Myles Murrell and junior Cass Kidwell competed at Western Kentucky University. The event is a tiered business pitch competition open to all Kentucky high school students. It is intended to introduce students to a realistic competitive business environment, as well as promote business ownership and lifelong learning. The competition is a two-step process. First, students compete at region competitions, which take place in five zones across Kentucky. The top two teams from each region competition advance to state competition.
