Adair Fiscal Court holds quick-paced session Tue 4 Apr 2017

CJE Mike Stephens presided at a special called meeting at 1pmCT, today, Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

In quick succession, the body approved by a unanimous vote of Fiscal Court members present:
  1. Extending the deadline for health insurance bids.
  2. Advertising for new insurance bids.
  3. Allowing the Columbia/Adair County Parks & Rec to buy $5,000 worth of playground equipment for Jim Blair Park with already budgeted money.
  4. Transferring line item funds
  5. A resolution for a $20,000 grant for Household Hazardous Waste, with the county contributing 25%, in-kind or cash
In attendance, in addition to Judge Stephens were Magistrates Perry Reeder (District 4), Sammy Baker (3), Daryl Flatt (2), Greg Caldwell (6), and Terry Hadley (7) ,Deputy CJE Andrea Session Recorder Gale Cowan, County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin, and Magistrates , and County Treasurer Melinda Quinn, and media representatives, Ann Melton of The Adair Progress, Adam Capps of the Community Voice, and Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com
