Robert Glen Jewell, age 61 of Edmonton, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 2pmCT, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT, Saturday, April 1, 2017, and Sunday morning at 9amCT, until the service.



Robert Glen Jewell, Metcalfe County, KY (1955-2017)


He was the son of the late Bobby Jewell & Loraine Pardue Jewell. He was born April 11, 1955. He died March 30, 2015, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 11 months, and 19 days.

Robert was a truck driver and member of the Big Meadow Baptist Church.

He was survived by:
  • His wife: Eva Wilson, Edmonton, KY

  • His son: Robert "Fred" Jewell Jr., Edmonton, KY

  • One brother: Keith Jewell, Edmonton, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Laura Jessie of Glasgow, KY; Tasha Jewell of Summer Shade, KY; Abby Whitlow, Jesse Jewell, and James Jewell all of Edmonton, KY

  • Four great-grandchildren

  • A nephew, Justin Jewell of Edmonton, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews
