Alice Jean Bowen Stanfield, 86, Taylor Co., KY (1930-2017) She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church and when she was able she was an active member of the Upper Room Sunday School Class and Susan B. Loy Circle. She was an employee of Fruit of the Loom until she retired to take care of her granddaughter. They became best of friends and spent many fun hours together. She was an avid gardener, loved being outside and spending time with her family. She was the widow of Thomas O. Stanfield, her husband of 22 years. She leaves two direct living descendants. She was born September 4, 1930 in Taylor County, KY. She died Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 86 years, six months, and 14 days.
