Larry Rex Birge, age 59, of Summer Shade, KY, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 17, 2017 at 1pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Phil Lowry officiating. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 2pmCT until 8pmCT, and on Friday after 7amCT until time of services.



Larry Rex Birge, 59, Summer Shade, KY (1957-2017)

Born October 28, 1957, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, he was a son of the late Elzy Rex Birge & Dixie Bradley Birge, who survives. He died Monday, March 13, 2013, in Summer Shade, KY at the age of 59 years, four months, and 13 days.

He was a farmer.

Survivors in addition to his mother include:
  • One sister: Becky Birge, Summer Shade, KY

  • Two brothers: Tony (Raquel) Birge and James Birge, both of Summer Shade, KY

  • Two nieces: Emma and Maria

  • And several cousins
