Harold Clark, 83, Casey County, KY (1933-2017)

He was a retired farmer, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of Willow Springs United Methodist Church. He was a native of Mt. Olive, KY, and a resident of Yosemite at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Ambrose & Betty Blanche Wesley Clark. His wife, Lydia Vanoy Clark, survives. He leaves 13 direct living descendants.

Harold Clark, age 83, of Yosemite, KY, passed away on Saturday March 11, 2017 at the Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Services will be held 10amCT/11amET Friday March 17, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Kevin Pittman and Bro. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Thursday March 16, 2017 and after 7amCT/8amET, on Friday March 17, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Harold Clark was born in Mt. Olive, Lee County, KY on November 27, 1933 a son of the late Ambrose and Betty Blanche Wesley Clark. He died Saturday, March 11, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 83 years, three months, and 12 days.

Harold was a retired Farmer, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Willow Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:
  • His spouse:Lydia Vanoy Clark, Middleburg, KY

  • Two sons: Tommy and (Betty) Clark of Middleburg, KY; and Kenny and (Elsie) Clark of Hustonville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Kendra and (J.P.) Sandusky of Liberty, KY; Ben and (Jennifer) Allen of Lexington, KY; Stephanie and (Robby) Murphy of Middleburg, KY; Darren Lee of Tennessee; Austin Lee, Hannah Lee and Hunter Lee all of Middleburg, KY

  • Four great grandchildren: Zetta Marie Sandusky, Brooks Allen and Haley and Megan Murphy

  • One brother: James and (Sharon) Clark of Liberty, KY

  • and two sisters: Norma Jean and (Cecil) Hatter and Mae Bell, both of Liberty, KY
Preceding him in death besides his parents were two brothers: Ambrose Clark Jr and Clifford Eli Clark; and three sisters, Beulah Gay Vaught, Fay Cravens and Emma Clark.
