GULF SHORES, AL - (Sat 04 Mar 2017) - The Lindsey Wilson softball team posted a 7-0 shutout victory over Middle Georgia State on Saturday in the final game of group play for the Blue Raiders at the Gulf Coast Invitational.



Taylor Slade (3-1) tossed a complete-game shutout in the circle allowing just three hits with one walk while striking out six.

Callum Pilgrim, Amber Foukes, Lauren Lett and Madison Bryant each tallied two hits in the win, Pilgrim accounting for a pair of RBIs.

Lindsey Wilson scored twice in the first and once in the third before dropping a three spot in the fifth inning against the Knights (9-13). All three runs in the fifth came with two outs as the Blue Raiders recorded three-straight singles, followed by a two-run double by Pilgrim.
