Remembering Geniece Marcum: You have earned your rest About: Geniece Leftwich Marcum, Metcalfe Co. native, (1929-2017) By Cynthia A. Meyer Every time I open Columbiamagazine it is always with mixed emotions... In the forefront of my mind I look forward to the beautiful pictures, anecdotes and stories that effect the many lives of those in our area... then there is the heart stopping, breath taking moments when I scroll down and see the obit of someone I know or the loved one of someone I know... It is with a heavy heart that I offer to Linda and all her family the thoughts and prayers of the passing of her much loved Mother... there are no words that can express the empty feeling of loss, even if others have walked in her shoes... the void can never be filled, and only the memories of the good times to bring comfort ... Thoughts and prayers to all the family at this heartbreaking time... God's Speed Geniece Leftwich Marcum...you have earned your rest, and will not be forgotten... Cynthia A. Meyer This story was posted on 2017-03-01 21:47:13
