Click on headline for complete story By Matthew Wurzburger, Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY (Wed 01 Mar 2017) - The Lindsey Wilson cheerleading team travels to the Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky for the Mid-South Conference Cheerleading Championships, which begin tonight, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 7pmCT/8pmET. The championships are divided into a team competition and three stunt group divisions. Team competition is comprised of game day routines and a two minute and 15 second segment of choreographed stunts, tumbles and jumps. The stunt events are divided into disciplines - all-girl (four females), co-ed (one male and one female) and mixed (one male and three females). National Cheerleaders Association rules and scoring are used for all events. Competing alongside the Blue Raiders are Campbellsville (KY), Cumberland (TN.), Cumberlands (KY), Georgetown (KY) and Pikeville (KY). Lindsey Wilson turned in a third-place finish in the team competition at last year's conference championships, finishing with 77.2 points. Pikeville won the team event with 84.2 points.
