Paul Milton Jones, 62, Taylor County, KY (1954-2017)

He Paul spent his life farming in the Bengal community and during his spare time, loved hunting and fishing as well as watching basketball and NASCAR. He had professed his faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was the son of Henry Milton Jones, JR, & Geraldine Goff Jones, who survive. He was the widower of Tammy Downey Jones. He leaves one direct living descendant, a daughter, Carly Ann Davis, Nashville, TN.

Paul Milton Jones, age 62 of Campbellsville, died Monday, February 27, 2017 in Taylor County.

The funeral service for Paul Milton Jones will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 10amCT/11amET, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. The family request visitation 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET, on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Paul was born on October 2, 1954. He was the son of Henry Milton Jones, Jr. and Geraldine Goff Jones, who survive. Paul spent his life farming in the Bengal community and during his spare time, loved hunting and fishing as well as watching basketball and NASCAR. He had professed his faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Downey Jones.

Besides his parents, he is survived by:
  • His daughter: Carly Ann Davis of Nashville, TN

  • A brother: Jason A. Jones, Campbellsville, KY

  • A sister and brother-in-law: Sharon and Brian Harris, Campbellsville, KY

  • A niece, Sara Harris and a nephew, Benjamin Harris, of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of relatives and friends.
