LWC Men's Indoor Track and Field Climbs to National No. 10 The Blue Raiders are e lone representatives from Mid-South to be featured in the top-25 poll. By Charles Balcom News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's indoor track and field program climbed all the way up to No. 10 in the latest NAIA Indoor United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced on Wednesday. The Blue Raiders moved up 63 spots from the previous national computer rankings after successful showings at the Mid-South Conference Indoor Championships and the LWC Last Chance Qualifier. Kevin Hallmon and DeQuan Robinson both notched top-10 times in the NAIA in the 60 and 200 meters, while Anthony Thompson recorded the eighth-best long jump distance in the NAIA this season. Scores in the National Team Computer Rankings were determined by the USTFCCCA computers using preseason event rankings that include the top marks of the recent NAIA indoor track & field seasons by returning student-athletes and the top marks of the 2017 campaign. The closer an athlete is to the top of his or her event rankings, the more points he or she earns toward the team total. Points from all applicable athletes are added up to determine team scores. Indiana Tech continues to hold the top spot in the computer rankings with 489.93 points. Lindsey Wilson fell just shy of the century mark in team points with 99.14.
