LWC Women's Tennis remains No. 2 in latest NAIA Top 25

COLUMBIA, KY - (Tue 14 Feb 2017) The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team remains ranked No. 2 as the national office released the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll this afternoon.

The Blue Raiders (1-1) held steady with 332 total voting points.

Georgia Gwinnett claims the No. 1 spot for the fifth-consecutive poll. The Grizzlies are off to a 4-0 start and received 343 voting points and all 13 first-place votes.

The next three spots went unchanged as No. 3-ranked SCAD Savannah (GA), No. 4-ranked Brenau (GA) and No. 5-ranked Cardinal Stritch (WI) round out the top five.

Two Mid-South Conference programs join Lindsey Wilson in the top 25. Cumberland (TN) fell one spot to No. 18, while Cumberlands (KY) dropped one place to No. 25.

In addition, Georgetown (KY) and Campbellsville (KY) appear in the receiving votes section with 38 and three voting points, respectively.
