COLUMBIA, KY (Tues 14 Feb 2017) - The NAIA released the fifth regular season Top-25 Coaches' Poll Tuesday evening and Lindsey Wilson moved up two spots to No. 2.

The Blue Raiders (24-0, 10-0 Mid-South Conference) are off to the best start in school history and the 24 consecutive wins are also a program record. The No. 2-ranking is the highest in program history. Lindsey Wilson received 242 points in the poll.




Ranked No. 1 is Freed Hardeman (TN) who received 250 points in the poll and all 10 first-place votes.

No. 3 is Vanguard (CA) with 232 points, No. 4 is Lewis-Clark State (ID) with 228 points and Shawnee State (Ohio) is No. 5 receiving 215 points.

Three other Mid-South Conference teams are mentioned in the Top-25. Campbellsville (KY) is ninth, Cumberland (TN) ranks 19th and Pikeville (KY) is 22nd.
