Human remains found in Dry Fork Creek Road fire identified

Foul play not suspected in Casey County tragedy, but investigation is ongoing

LIBERTY, KY, (Tue 31 Jan, 2017) - The human remains found in the residence have been identified as 25-year-old Brandi Nix, of Burnside, KY.



The other victims, who remain hospitalized in critical condition, are Brandi Nix's child, 3-year-old Arianna Nix, and a friend, 33-year-old Jeremy Wilkerson, of Windsor, KY.

The fire is believed to have started as the result of an electrical issue and no foul play is suspected. The investigation is ongoing.
