Humor: Drunken driver tells sober truth - sort of

By Shelia Wade

There was an 86 year old man who was pretty inebriated that was spotted by police driving somewhat erratically early about 2:30am in the morning. The officer stopped this gentleman and asked him "What are you doing out driving this late and where are you headed? " The gentleman said, "I am headed to a lecture on Alcohol and staying up too late." Now the officer was well aware that no one would be lecturing at this time of morning so he asked the gentleman, "Sir, who would be the lecturer for this topic ?" The gentleman stated , "My wife" . . . - Shelia Wade
