Her love of fashion was very evident in the way she cared for and coordinated her closet. She was a native of Metcalfe County, KY, and leaves many family members in Adair, Taylor, Metcalfe and other areas of Kentucky and elsewhere. She was born October 28, 1928, in Metcalfe County, KY. She died Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 88 years, two months, and 22 days. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. Edith was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was described as a very classy lady. This was probably due to her extensive collection of jewelry and ladies' fashion hats. It was only natural that she was involved in the Red Hatters Club and Taylor Regional Hospital Auxillary.
