Columbia PD arrests, jails, 11 in drug trafficking crackdown CPD Detective Brad Scholl is continuing the investigations. More arrests are forthcoming as Chief Jason Cross vows continuing vigorous efforts to end drug trafficking in Adair County, thanking Commonwealth's Attorney Gale Williams and his office in helping remove drug dealers from streets. Note: An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By Ofc. Josh Brockman, PIO Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross The Columbia Police Department has arrested several Adair County residents on drug charges. The arrest have spanned weeks as CPD officers began executing sealed indictments. The warrants were a result of several month long investigation into the trafficking of controlled substances in the City of Columbia and Adair County. The arrest as of this date include:
CPD Detective Brad Scholl is continuing the investigations. More arrests are forthcoming . Chief Cross said, "Columbia Police will continue to work vigorously on the illegal drug trade in Adair County.
