What a generous and caring community we have!

The Salvation Army Red Kettle was very successful this year.

Thanks to all the volunteers that were willing to donate their time.

There just are not enough words to let everyone that participated this year know how much they are appreciated.

We had three locations in Columbia. We appreciate Walmart, IGA

and Tractor Supply for allowing the Red Kettles and bell ringers at their locations. The weather was in our favor with milder temperatures.

We had 6 participating churches: Columbia Baptist, Columbia Christian, Pickett's Chapel, New Life for the Nations, Trinity United Methodist and Bloomington Chapel. We had three locations in Columbia.

We appreciate Walmart, IGA, and Tractor Supply for allowing the Red Kettles and bell ringers at their locations. The weather was in our favor with milder temperatures.

Thanks go the Emeritus Home Health, United Citizens Bank, Adair County EMS, Sheriff Moss and staff, LWC Bonner Students, Boy Scout Troop #185, Cub Scout Pack #888, Girl Scout Troop #1089, Beta Club-Adair Middle School and the Rotary Club and several individuals who rang during the week.

The funds you collected stay in Adair County to help local individuals and provide services in our community. Through your efforts donations totaled $8,355.19. We always need more volunteers and would be glad to talk with you, your church, organization or business if you are interested in ringing for the 2017 campaign, you may contact me at 270-378-4738.
